Private Hospital (Vulture St) are able to access the services of the teacher. The ward
administrators usually inform the school that a school age student is in hospital and
requires the services of a teacher. Other contact can be made through the social worker or
the Clinical Nurse Consultant for each ward. |

school work while long stay

classroom, however due to the
nature of a their illnesses, the ward teacher usually visits the students in their wards.
Individual programs are negotiated with the students and home school contact is maintained
