The MATER
HOSPITAL
SPECIAL
SCHOOL
offers an educational service to
adolescents students
hospitalised at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Students can be drawn from
any areas of
the hospital. A teacher visits the hospital several afternoons a week and
organises ongoing work as appropriate. |
Short stay students are given revision based on their current
school work while long stay
students are given work based on information from their home school.
In addition to assisting with school work the ward teacher's
may also:
